Architectural  concept

Description

The shape of the building is a rectangle 71x88 m.

It is  4.5 stories- basement ,1flr- 4flr and 14,000 sqm built around an internal yard.

This design topology allows natural light entre to the building and natural ventilation.

 

The building refers to the four sky directions , each faced has an entrance :

south –main entrance from ave de paz.

east -  public entrance from calle bioko norte.

West- administrative entrance from the supreme court.

North –back administrative entrance from   parking lot.

 

The design concept is allowing the the outside environment take part with the internal space.

The building appearance is divided to four elements :

- flat and horizontal foundation.

- core.

- Columns (colonnade).

- flat and horizontal roof.

The internal yard at the core and the displacement of the columns from the faced, creating

 colonnade, defines and emphasis  the bond between the outdoor and the indoor,

Which is well suited to the equatorial climate and way of living.

The building core looks like it is flouting its achieved by designing a horizontal  strip of curtain wall at the first floor, this gives the building a light appearance while at the same time maintaining honorable faced with vertical windows which gives a establishment look.

The building architecture style is a modern interpretation of the Greek and roman classic  design.
